Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the first woman to have ever won twice in CrossFit Games. In both the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media celebrity. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. She is also known for taking home the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie, her parents, and her siblings were born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland. At a very early age, Annie was a fervent sports enthusiast and enjoyed exercising. Many medals were awarded to her in school competitions. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit games at California where she performed relatively very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years (as in 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. The first time she competed, she was very successful and finished in the first 10 of the 70 competitors. She did not take home an award and ended the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. After a year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment earned her the title. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 helped her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she had won consecutively. In 2014, she received a gold medal. Then in 2021 she won a bronze. Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. With rising fame as an athlete Annie has been a face for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae and many other brands. Aside from that, she has a self-titled Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand followers where her workout diet family videos as well as travel videos are posted.
