Felicity Jones is a British actress best known in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically well-reviewed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones is an actor since the age of 12years old, has been a part of many TV series and movies. Jones began her acting career in the television movie The Treasure Seekers. Following that she made an appearance on The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and Weirdsisters College. The character she played was Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. Later, she appeared in various movies. Her popularity grew due to her performance in films including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But it was her performance on The Theory of Everything' that earned the actress the Oscar nomination for the first time. Jones received high praise from the public and critics as she played Hawking's ex-wife, in this Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno, the Tom Hanks thriller was her subsequent film. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles in recognition of her extraordinary talent and work to the cinema.
