Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American musician and popular actress. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by a lot of Americans. It was in her ninth grade that she gained confidence following her acclaim in an audition. This not only increased her self-confidence but also changed her career ambition. In 1992, she received her degree from New York's Julliard School. In 1993 she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. Her most memorable break came from the role of The Lady of The Lake, in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great reviews for her performance. The following year, in 2007, she was cast in the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. Alongside being a popular singer, she also released her own solo album and an extended piece. Also, she is a campaigner and has been active for LGBT rights.
